Atlas Genius, Australia's sensational indie artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Gramercy Theater!

Atlas Genius was formed in Adelaide (South Australia) in 2009 by the Jeffery brothers: vocalist/guitarist Keith, bassist Steven, and drummer Michael. They recruited their friend and keyboardist Darren Sell to complete the line up and went to work on honing their craft. Their breakthrough came in 2011 with their debut single (Trojans) hitting #4 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and achieving Gold status in the US. Their musical style is best described as a blend of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze), indie pop (a subgenre of alternative/indie rock originating in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and differing from indie rock to the extent that it’s more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst free), and indie electronic (a subgenre of alternative/indie rock with affinity for electronic music, using samplers, synthesizers, drum machines, and computer programs). They've had a stellar career with 2 studio albums, 6 music videos, 3 extended plays, 7 singles and 2 remix albums. The band currently consists of Keith (lead vocals and guitar), Michael (drums), and touring members Josh Rheault (guitar, keys, and vocals) along with Daniel Curcio (bass and vocals).

Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to indie rock, indie pop, and indie electronic music!
