Dylan Scott, Louisiana’s sensational country artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Gramercy Theater!
Dylan Scott Robinson was born in Bastrop (Louisiana) in 1990 and is a singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist (guitar and piano). He was introduced to music at an early age by his father (who played guitar with country artists Freddy Fender and Freddie Hart), his great aunt (a piano teacher who had taught renowned country record producer and pianist Tony Brown), and another relative who played piano with the Blackwood Brothers and the Stamps. By the time he was 12, he’d become a skilled acoustic guitar player and in high school, he went on tour with the gospel trio 11th Hour. He went on to create a musical style that’s best described as a blend of contemporary country (a subgenre of country music that primarily draws from classic honky tonk, but also boasts all the advantages of updated production techniques and equipment, proving that pure country music can sound authentic yet modern) and neo traditionalist country (a style that emphasizes the instrumental background and a traditional country vocal style). He’s had a stellar career with 1 studio albums (which hit #5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart), 1 extended play, 5 singles and 4 music videos.
Don't miss your chance to see this artist add a unique touch to contemporary and and neo traditionalist country music!
