Eric Nam was born in Atlanta in 1988 and is a singer, songwriter, TV host, and entrepreneur. His musical style is best described as blend of K-pop (a modern form of South Korean pop music covering a range of styles and genres incorporated from the West such as Western pop music, rock, jazz, hip hop, R&B, reggae, electronica, techno, rave, nu metal, folk, country and classical on top of its traditional Korean music roots), R&B, and ballads. He’s had a stellar career with 2 extended plays, 6 singles, 12 music videos, and he’s collaborated with Hoya (of South Korean boy band Infinite), Loco, Namaste, Amber Liu, Park Ji-min (of K-pop duo 15&), Gallant, Tablo, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Boram, Wendy (of South Korean girl group Red Velvet), KOLAJ, Seohyun, Jeon So-mi, and Arty. His music has also been featured in many South Korean TV series such as Love in Memory, Let's Eat, SOS Please Help Me, Flirty Boy and Girl, and Uncontrollably Fond. He’s received many accolades including an MBC Entertainment Award (for Best Couple – with South Korean singer and actress Solar) and he was named 2016’s Man of the Year by GQ Korea. He’s also been nominated for 2 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
