Hellyeah, Dallas’ sensational heavy metal and groove metal artists are bringing their electrifying sounds to the Gramercy Theater!

Hellyeah is a heavy metal superband that was formed in 2006 and is currently composed of composed of Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray, former Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell, bass player Kyle Sanders, guitarist Christian Brady and former Pantera and Damageplan drummer Vinnie Paul. The idea for the group was conceived in 2000 on the Tattoo the Earth tour (featuring Mudvayne, Nothingface, Slayer, Slipknot and Sevendust) during which Tom and Chad had gotten to know each other and talked about the possibility of forming a supergroup. Their musical style falls under the groove metal genre and Vinnie describes their music as “a familiar groove, with a new sound.” Their eponymous debut album entered the US Billboard 200 chart at #9 and was critically acclaimed as “a competent example of its genre”. They’ve had a stellar career with 5 studio albums, 1 video album, 10 music videos, and 10 singles, and 4 promotional singles. They’ve toured with many renowned acts such as Korn, Evanescence, Alter Bridge, Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, Drowning Pool, and Lacuna Coil. They’ve received many accolades including 4 Loudwire Music Award nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Band, and Best Rock Video.
