High Valley, Canada's sensational country artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Gramercy Theater!
High Valley was formed in La Crete (Alberta, Canada) in 1997 by brothers Brad, Curtis, and Bryan Rempel. Their musical style is best described as a blend of contemporary country (a subgenre of country music that primarily draws from classic honky tonk, but also boasts all the advantages of updated production techniques and equipment, proving that pure country music can sound authentic yet modern), country pop (a blend of country music and pop music developed by artists of the former out of a desire to reach a larger, mainstream audience), and bluegrass (a genre that takes roots from Irish, Scottish and English traditional music, and was also later influenced by the music of African Americans through incorporation of jazz elements). They've had a stellar career with 5 studio albums (one of which has been certified Gold in Canada), 1 extended play, 20 singles, and 13 music videos. They've received many accolades including 10 GMA Canada Covenant Awards (for Group Of The Year, Video Of The Year, 3 for Country/Bluegrass Song Of The Year, 3 for Country/Bluegrass Album Of The Year, and 2 for Artist Of The Year), 3 Canadian Country Music Association Awards (for Interactive Artist of the Year and 2 for Group or Duo of the Year).
