Lanco, Tennessee's sensational contemporary country artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Gramercy Theater!
The band was formed in Nasville in 2013 by lead vocalist Brandon Lancaster, drummer Tripp Howell, guitarist Eric Steedly, keyboardist Jared Hampton, and bassist Chandler Baldwin. Their name is a short form of Lancaster and Company and their breakthrough came when they met Jay Joyce (renowned record producer who's worked with The Wallflowers, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, and many other big names in country/rock music) at a Keith Urban concert. It wasn't long before they got a record deal and they released their debut extended play in 2016. Their musical style is best described as a blend of contemporary country (a sub genre of country music that primarily draws from classic honky tonk, but also boasts all the advantages of updated production techniques and equipment, proving that pure country music can sound authentic yet modern) country pop (a blend of country music and pop music developed by artists of the former out of a desire to reach a larger, mainstream audience), and country rock (a subgenre of popular music, formed from the fusion of rock and country, developed by rock musicians who started using country themes, vocal styles, and additional instrumentation, most notably, pedal steel guitars).
Don't miss your chance to see the artists who craft feel good anthems by fusing classic rock and blues undercurrents with big country flair!
