Roadcase Royale

10th September 2017 - Sunday 19:00

Sensational rhythm and blues and rock artists Roadcase Royal are bringing their signature sounds to the Gramercy Theater!

Roadcase Royale was formed in 2015 by Nancy Wilson (guitarist of renowned Canadian rock band Heart) and Liv Warfield (R&B singer and songwriter best known as a member of Prince's backing band, The New Power Generation). Nancy first saw Liv when she performed on the The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She said in an interview, "She was doing that song “Why Do You Lie?” with the Roots...She has this force of nature power about her — not just her voice, but her whole energy and her presence. At the time, we were looking for an opener for the two nights at the Hollywood Bowl [in August 2015]. As soon as we asked her, she accepted. She brought just her and her guitar player, Ryan Waters. It was a match made in heaven." They added Ryan Waters (guitar), Chris Joyner (keyboards), Dan Rothchild (bass), and Ben Smith (drums) to complete the line up and they made their live debut at the fifth annual Rock Against MS benefit concert in Los Angeles. They've had a stellar career with 2 singles (Get Loud, Not Giving Up) and their debut album (First Things First) comes out on 22nd September 2017.

Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to rhythm and blues and rock music!
