Strangelove, the most original Depeche Mode tribute artists are bringing their signature Depeche Mode experience to the Gramercy Theater!
Strangelove consists of Freddie Morales (also known as ‘Devotional Dave’ – lead vocals, visuals, lighting design, and sequencing), Brent Meyer (also known as ‘Counterfeit Martin’ – music director, keyboards, vocals, guitar, melodic, sequencing, and percussion), David Sepe (also known as ‘Alan Wildest’ – keyboards, sequencing, backing vocals, and percussion), and Jim Evans (also known as ‘In The Fletch’ – keyboards, sequencing, backing vocals, and percussion). They’ve become specialists in recreating songs from Depeche Mode’s canon; from favorites on their debut album (Speak and Spell) to the newest fare from their latest one (Delta Machine). They leave no stone unturned in taking the audience through time and touching on several key points in Depeche Mode’s stellar career. Their theatrical stage production includes multiple visual projections, as many authentic vintage synthesizers and archaic samplers as possible, along with many costume changes that reflect different eras of Depeche Mode’s three decade long history. They’ve received many accolades including being listed as one of Top Tribute Bands of 2015 by the OC Weekly and they’ve had the honor of performing an hour long live concert broadcasted by AXS TV; an American cable and satellite television network that specializes in music events, MMA and more.
Don’t miss your chance to see these artists bring you a truly authentic Depeche Mode experience!
