Supersuckers, Arizona’s sensational hard rock artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Gramercy Theater!
The band was formed in Tucson in 1988 and it currently consists of Eddie Spaghetti (bass guitar and lead vocals), "Metal" Marty Chandler (guitars and backing vocals), and Christopher "Chango" Von Streicher (drums). While their musical style can be broadly classified as hard rock, it also includes elements of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze), country rock (a subgenre of popular music, formed from the fusion of rock and country, developed by rock musicians who started using country themes, vocal styles, and additional instrumentation, most notably, pedal steel guitars), cowpunk (a subgenre of punk rock that combines it with country music, folk music, and blues), and garage rock (a raw and energetic style of rock and roll deriving from the perception that groups were often made up of young amateurs who rehearsed in the family garage, although many were professional). They’ve had a stellar career with 10 studio albums, 1 split album (with Electric Frankenstein), 5 live albums, 3 compilation albums, 9 singles, and they’ve recorded with many renowned artists such as Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Kelley Deal of The Breeders, and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.
Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to hard rock music!
