Up and Vanished Live, the sensational podcast about the disappearance of Georgia beauty queen Tara Grinstead is coming to the Gramercy Theater!

Tara Faye Grinstead (was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia) in 1974 and was an American beauty queen and high school history teacher who lived in Ocilla, Georgia. She went missing in October 2005 and over the next 11 years, she there was no confirmed sighting and local law enforcement and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) couldn't find any solid leads. In February 2017, they announced they'd received a tip that led to the arrests of Ryan Alexander Duke (for murder) and Bo Dukes (for several charges including concealing a death). As of September 2017, no trial date has been set and there are still many unanswered questions. The podcast is hosted by director and documentary filmmaker, Payne Lindsey. He said in an interview, "I've always had a passion for true crime. Inspired by docu-series like Netflix's Making A Murderer and HBO's The Jinx, I set out to find an interesting case that i could turn into a film. Being from Atlanta, and having family just 20 minutes from Ocilla, when i came across the Tara Grinstead case, it immediately jumped out at me. Once i started digging, I became fixated on doing something that authorities hadn't been able to do in over a decade... solve this case."
